WINFRITH OFFICE


Historically, the Winfrith operation was established to service the requirements of UKAEA. Since then the client base at Winfrith has steadily grown to include local developers, water companies, contractors and numerous private individuals.

The Winfrith Office is the largest of our offices and offers a wide range of services in addition to Civil Engineering design, Contract preparation, drafting of Specifications and Contract supervision and a growing specialism in Flood Risk Assessment.

The Winfrith Office also undertakes the data collection and presentation for Impermeable Area Studies for the majority of the UK apart from Severn Trent and Ireland and Eire which are undertaken by the Highcliffe Office.

The ecological service based at Winfrith is available throughout the UK and is becoming an essential part of most new developments.

AquaMud, the sediment stability measurement resource also based at Winfrith is available internationally.

A growing area of expertise is the provision of temporary works and permanent works design for a major contractor supporting a number of national retail refurbishment operations.

Clients include UKAEA, The Environment Agency, Wessex Water, Anglian Water, Peter Gunning and Partners, Hyder, Buckfield Group and Damar.
